WHAT IS THE ORGANIC COTTON ?

Cotton is a natural fibre that covers the seed of the cotton plant once the flower has dried. It is cultivated harmoniously and naturally with rotations in the crops to prevent soil imbalance. The obtention of seeds by self-reproduction preserves the continuity of the autochthonous species. Plagues are controlled biologically with natural predators and natural pesticides. To ensure the fertility of the soil, organic compounds are used and the crops are adapted to areas with sufficient rainfall, using vegetable covers to retain the damp. No transgenic products or chemical fertilisers are used.

WHY INDIGO ?

It is a blue vegetable dye, the oldest used by many cultures in different parts of the world. It is obtained from jiquilite, macerating the stems and leaves in water. The Anyil colour of this towel reminds us of the natural origins of a very popular colour in our Mediterranean culture.
