Washing tips and instructions for terry cloth items
WASHING
- Wash before first use.
- Do not use cold or warm water. Specific program for towels.
- Wash dark colours separately.
- Do not leave wet towels/terry pieces together for a long time, they can cause discoloration and colour transfer.
- Do not dry clean.
- Do not use bleach.
DETERGENT / SOFTENER
- Use neutral soap for colours.
- Strong detergents only because of the white colour, as they contain bleach.
- Excess detergent can leave residues on the cotton fibers, causing harden´s fabric and losing the vitality of colour.
- The use of anti-calc products improves the result of washing.
- Adding too much softener implies a loss of fabric absorption.
DRY
- If possible, we recommend the use of a dryer, with the specific towel program.
- Drying towels in radiators hardens the fibers and the towel becomes stiff.
- Do not iron at high temperature and preferably without steam.
Effects
PILLING
- New towels/items leave lint in the first wash and use.
- To avoid the formation of " fluff balls " use the soft program, specific for towels, and the drum load recommended by the washing machine.

- The manufactured items are 100% cotton, so they are subject to a natural shrinking of 5% to 10%.
- We recommend stretching and shaping with your hands when they are wet and repeating once they are dry.
LOOSE THREADS
- Do not pull the threads, cut them.
- Avoid washing terry articles together with other garments that have zips, hooks or Velcro.
